SHAPES ON FABRIC

Materials themselves have a long history, I seek to translate the story into the metal. Texture on fabric is the trace of the many million times of repeated weave actions of a machine. Transfer the trace of the beauty of the mass-production work on silver, produces a beautiful paper-like textured surface.

ELASTIC BANGLE

The simple elastic band, so versatile and common place. A loose curve around the wrist and waiting for some use.

LITTLE SCULPTURE

Embossed sheet metal has the tension and quality of paper. I cut, bend, fold, curve and stick them together making forms as I am making paper sculptures.

KNOT RING

A knot; sometimes a knot means making a promise, or a tangle we try to unknot.
